About Our Founder: Emmanuel Wabwire
Emmanuel Wabwire is the Executive Director of Faraja Africa Foundation; He also is the Gold Award winner for the Duke of Edinburgh International Award. He carries an academic background in a Masters in Business Administration and Bachelors in Development Studies. Emmanuel has over 12 years of experience in working with young people and youth development work under thematic areas of social entrepreneurship leadership and civic engagement, digital literacy, economic empowerment, and education.
He has also had the privilege of serving in various leadership positions over the years, amongst which he was the: Chief Executive Officer & Founder of the International Student Society, the African European Regional Representative of the Commonwealth Student Association, the Guild President of Uganda Christian University, the Secretary for International Affairs for the Uganda National Student Council, Treasurer for Uganda Red Cross Society Youth Council, currently the Youth Chairperson for Uganda National Commission for UNESCO and a strong voice at the All Africa Students Union.
