Project Launch: Enhancing Youth Inclusion in Governance and Decision Making

We are thrilled to announce the official launch of the Enhancing Youth Inclusion in Governance and Decision-Making project. The overall objective of the project is to improve youth meaningful participation in key democratic and governance processes. The project seeks to achieve two main outcomes:
  • Enhanced responsiveness and engagement of duty bearers through strengthened platforms.
  • Strengthened capacity of youth, youth groups, and organizations to effectively engage and influence decision-making processes.
This project will focus on Strengthening Youth-Led Advocacy and Policy Influence, Leveraging Digital Tools for Civic Engagement, Capacity Building for Sustainable Youth Engagement, Debate and Dialogue as Vehicles for Youth Empowerment This partnership between Embassy of Denmark in Uganda and Faraja Africa Foundation is also supported by the Embassies of Sweden, Netherlands and Ireland and co-implemented by Advance Africa and  Open Space Uganda Project Timeline: April 2025 – December 2027 Project Districts:  Koboko, Yumbe, Maracha, and Pakwach
